PCI express is backwards compatible..so no they don't need to look at their motherboard.

I'd get a 1050 if you are looking for a budget price

If not that a 1070 is on sale rn. So I'd get that.

Either go for the 1050ti or the 1070. Whichever fits your price line the best. 1080 may be over kill

I would recommend the GTX 1080 because it is a great graphic card and is compatiable with all games but a bit expensive.
