After the horrible news surrounding Battlefront 2 and another disaster created by EA, how high are the chances that they manage to get things back on track beyond the temporary removal of micro transactions?

The future of everything is going to be micro transactions. Look at where the net neutrality is going, its practically micro transactions for the whole of the internet.

I believe that while they can bring them back the only way to make them seem not as bad as the last micro transaction fiesta is to just make it for cosmetics. Also a lot of places are now banning loot boxes cause they deem them gambling.

EA won't manage to get Battlefront 2 back up lol. They only care about money. For them, this is just a tiny failure, they can always milk another series.

The future, and rightfully so, is it dies a slow, horrible death until it reaches a 10-20 dollar price point and sees a temporary small boom in its user base before fading back into obscurity.

This user might be right but who knows EA can do wonders but can also break everything.
