What happens to my computer if i leave it on for a week?

So im thinking of just putting my comm to sleep instead of shutting it down was wondering if it would be orite. Also what do you usually do when you leave your comp do you leave it on or off it?

Well, I would not leave my computer on, certainly do not want to have a huge bill to pay.

Mine's been on for nearly 2 weeks, not much has happened, just a bit slower than usual

Nothing much, like that guy said, electricity & when you return to the PC it's probably going to be super hot and running slow.

Need to see your computer configuration, If not overheated, basically you just wasted a week's electricity.

Lol, I only leave it on when I'm downloading huge files so I can download them overnight. I'm not really sure about the risks and consequences of leaving it on for too long, though.

Nothing is going to happen at all, it wont overheat unless you dont have a cooler equipped (how do you guys think servers function, seriously?)

It would fo sho kill u while you're sleeping or something. Trust me, one time I left my car on and it killed me.
