G'day all, thinking of buying my first car in the next couple of months would love some SERIOUS suggestions it would have to be legal in Victoria, sporty without being retarded and under five grand cheers!

Mercedes Benz AMG ofcourse, if you can't afford that a CLA220 is fine as well

I had this as a first car actually, sold it a few months ago.

Honda Civic was cheap milage, cheap repairs (most could be done by yourself), initial costs was cheap. A negative thing would be the looks of it :D

Little Ford Fiesta or Vauxhall Corsa would see you right through - be careful when buying second hand obviously.
