GMOD 2?

Gmod 2 ? It's already Gmod 13..
But yeah, if a sequel was to be made, Garry and his team would upgrade the graphics and maybe change from Source engine to newer engines.
And the modding community would have a new playground too.

Well, they have been working on S&Box now since September of last year. Its on Unreal Engine and can import anything from GMOD. Even if its not supposed to be a direct sequel one of the developers described it as, "Literally Garrysmod but with far less limits and easier modding"

lmao what do you mean you can't get any other idea than graphics? a 13 year old outdated engine maybe??? it's the main thing that puts me off of it

This is something i was linked upon the development starting. Quoting anybody who said Garry wasn't working on Garry's Mod anymore, you're partially correct - however, he is working on Sbox (Garry's Mod 2?). I personally love the way it looks, however not the functionality (though it's still in very early Alpha).
