For me the bitcoin never dead it just have a crash but now is return to 17000$ so thath good !

Imo Bitcoin will never die but rather become a coin that will stay valuable because of its historic value. People will buy it hold it like its an ancient artifact.

In the long run Alt-Coins will overtake Bitcoins position for sure. BTC tech is way too deprecated, transactions take too long and the fees are way beyond ridiculous.

I reckon it will go up in price again and go to a MAX of $20k, then possibly crash or something. It has stalled majorly, it seems, but who knows.
