Description
Jarvin, a project that I've been on for a few months now in my spare time; is technically considered an "Escape Screen", but will act as a script with many other categories of features as well during its development. Through-out the time I've been working on the large Arivia update, I had a separate idea to make something that would include various features that both players and administrators can take advantage of. This project helped when I needed to take a small break from Arivia and give me something "new" to focus on after 8 hours of Arivia code. It was styled with the inspiration of "Metro" (windows 8), to keep a sleek look with the color scheme I've used through-out all of my designs. Within the next umerous updates, plans to also include administrative tasks will be added which will allow staff to manage their servers from the script, as well as being able to keep players informed of news, server information, and even include video advertisements via YouTube or .webm files.
There is a large number of updates planned for this script, which the possibilities are almost endless for. Some features include managing players per each different gamemode, with integration of the most popular admin-mods and many other things.
Features
- Functions as an escape screen, or activates based on a chat-command.
- Escape screen mode can be turned off at any time, and just a key-bind can be used to activate it.
- Ability to actually go back to theServer Listwithout being blocked because you have an escape screen.
- Customized browser allows your players to go to websites associated with your network, WITHOUT using the Steam Browser.
- Options to disconnect from current server and/or return to the current game. And yes, it has a SETTINGS button
- Both the console keybind works (~) and it even includes its own Console button (can be turned off along with the other buttons within the settings).
- Background feature can be turned ON or OFF within the configuration.
- Rotating backgrounds - so your players never get bored and you canchangethem whenever you want without needing to add new resources. Uses absolute URLS (meaning you can use website urls for images).
- Custom fonts to give it that extra pop.
- Local player clock gives players the current time without having to go to the desktop (or look around the house).
- FastDL pre-setup, or the ability to use it as a Workshop addon in order to get the content to your players.
- Completely customizable color scheme, allows you to change the colors to whatever aspect you want. (Panels, text, etc.)
- Announcement panel allows you to type whatever announcement(s) you wish. Supports new lines and scroll-bar available when announcement gets too long Multiple announcements can be placed in the list to keep a "history".
- Custom animations with "slide" effect.
- Server feature allows you to list all of the servers you currently host. Each server can be connected to via clicking on the server box. Confirmation box ensures accidental clicks don't happen.
- Buttons can be customized to either use an icon OR you can use background images such as you would find in some Windows metro designs.
- View list of players currently on server with avatars and each player has a direct link to their steam profile.
- Video module allows you to integrate *.webmvideos into your screen. (Optional) - see autoplay true or false option available.
- Customize video start volume (so you don't blow your players ears off), see configuration file.
First off, thanks for your purchase!
Simply drop the contents in a new folder within the/garrysmod/addons/folder.
Edit your/sh/sh_config.luafile and modify it to your specifications.
FastDL / Workshop
My scripts come pre-configured to handle FastDL. However, in the event that you cannot use FastDL on your server; I also upload Workshop items that contain all of the resources you'll need. Simply subscribe to the workshop item below, and add it to your server's collection. Players will automatically download what they need when they connect to your server.

FAQ
I changed the configuration and things stopped working.
Check your values. Anything with atrueorfalsevalue is a Boolean value, and should only be true or false. Make sure you don't have unneeded quotation marks.
I modified the settings but changes aren't taking place.
Some settings will allow you to modify them and the changes will take place immediately thanks to a feature called (Auto-refresh). However, in some cases, the server may not make the changes, and therefore, a server restart is needed.
I don't want it to be used as an escape screen - can I use it for other purposes?
Yes. The script allows you to bind it to a key (using ENUMS). Once you enable this, players can activate the screen by pressing the key you specify within the configuration file.
Can my players get to the servers tab?
Aboslutely, a button is provided which allows you to access the normal parts of the Garry's Mod GUI.
Can I access the console?
Yes, both the keybind works (~), and there's even a "Console" button which will activate the console as well.
Can I change the backgrounds?
Yes. Within the configuration file is a table namedJarvin.Settings.Backgrounds- can you add or modify any link within here - or add your own!
If the link happens to go down, please shoot me a personal message!

#2 Old leaked product from LeakForums.
100% not the latest because this one is from the beginning of 2016 (got edited there the last time - the files itself are from the end of 2015 and the Leak from the beginning of 2015 [weird] which means this is very old and I'm sure it's not the latest) and Scriptfodder shows there were an update 10Month ago. (Version history says 1 Year ago)
Archive itself is clean.
Code looks clean too (just "leaking credits" on the Top of every file / from the LeakForums guy).
Just a bit messy to write the complete "main-script" into one file.
Functionality of this: Working.
Worth the credits in my Opinion? Definetly nope. Not as an "Escape Menu".
It's too old and needs too much improvements form the user.
It could be nice to rewrite this as a nice Newsfeed/Changelog addon or something else. (There is a Hotkey [F7] to also open this up.)
