If you come on here for leaked gmod scripts what do you do with them?

Dissect them and completely re-do them typically, UI overhaul. I mainly download them change up the UI to fit whatever I'm working on's standards and boom. I would just buy it but most of the time they're overpriced and not even close to being worth it.

I mostly use the leak until i can actually buy the addon then when i have the money i normally buy it

I use to try it, if the people like it or not. I dont want to spend 7-17 on something that my players hate XD

Use them basically as a free trial... and in some cases to use it but to sort of update it on my own.

Some addons are just too expensive for what they are. Some times I'm just asking myself is the creator of one specific addon is a kid that doesn't know what money is, or if it's just a broke dude that needs money quick.

Whenever I see a good addon leak, I just try to understand line by line of the code that crafted the addon itself and try to absorb as many of lua goodness as I can and make some adjustments to fit my server, then I run it there.

Mainly for my servers, even though I sometimes look into code, to check how they are made, some addons are really interesting to look at
