Vouch on these. Best free emulators you'll find. The premium/paid version doesn't offer anything too fancy either, so you're not missing out by being a free user.
They also have controller support, which is fantastic because I like to play with my bluetoothgamepad. Get rid of all the buttons on screen, turn on the controller and play away.

Yep! I have it both on my tablets and my phone, and I specifically got a phone case with a stand so I can just set it on a table and kick back comfortably. I recommend using an 8bitdo SN30 Pro because of its form factor and amount of buttons, but if you don't wanna carry that around you can always get an 8bitdo Zero and keep that in your pocket.

8bitdo SN30 Pro (Amazon.com)

Oof form factor is important for me, big hands, can't deal with tinyass controllers. One of the main reasons I can't play my friends switch lol.
Does look fancy tho, an SNES controller with joysticks lmfao.

SN30 is Nintendo Switch compatible, acts as a Pro Controller. Just lacking NFC for amiibo figures.
