Are Forum Games Dead?

I remember everyone used to have some types of forum games on their forums, now basically no does it.
I guess those forum games were so simplistic that modern gamers laugh at it.

I just realized something, I'm getting old...............................

To be honest with you i've never been fond of them, it just involves of people spamming on a thread with a question not fully engaging in the forum activities.
They are fun bare with me, but they don't really bring anything forward.
