Let's say its neither good or bad, i think you should focus on other areas tho.
You seem to be good at forum design, i don't want to say don't waste your time on painting because if you like it go for it. However you should look into motion graphics, video making and possibly some physical design (screen printing etc)

I don't typically do designs for forum, it's just something on the side I enjoy. Forums got me into making userbars and digital illustration.

When I worked for a printing press as a graphic designers, I'd make designs for clients like logos, business card designs, large posters, canvas prints, flyers, billboards, etc. And I had to help with production work as well.

All that time designing in real world applications has allowed me to quickly learn to master userbars, siggys, avatars, banners, icons, etc. The fact that I painted that on my first try is mind boggling to me, I actually enjoy painting now.

This is stupidly amazing. This is your first creation? I cannot express myself enough without explaining how awestruck I am at this moment. This is far better than I've ever seen "newbies" attempt for their first try.
I apologize for everything

Trust me, I am shocked myself. All I did was watch a video on how to shade colors with different brushes.

When I started, I made a shape of a cloud, and started from there. Started to add the highlights midtones, blending etc. Took a while, but it started looking natural and coming together the further I made the cloud. It looked boring so I made the tree. I saw videoson how painters made trees so I put that concept to use here and it came out pretty good. I used my graphic design skils to make the stars lol.
