If you PC game, where did you first start?

Personally around late 2012 I saw some guy playing CS while I was looking for minecraft videos on youtube and thought hey thats a cool game, it introduced me to steam and I have been playing PC ever since. Interested in you guys because PC gaming is harder to come by because of the wide availability and ease of a console.

Saw some dudes playing gmod tower back in 2011 I think and I was like "oh shit that looks cool"

4th grade friends got me into roblox
couple years later minecraft kek
then gmod around that time

It was back in 1998. My father had a friend that was playing Prince of Persia on a Windows 95 system and I got into this. These pixels seemed like magic to me then.

Well 2013 I got into gaming and I found Roblox off an ad, So then I start playing it and I got addicted for a while so I found youtube at the time too, I found Garry's mod and it was my first paid game and the first video watched on youtube.

my uncle gave me a copy of half-life. i started that and was hooked. then proceeded to have nightmares about the headcrabs and the ceiling tongue monsters.

Somewhere around 2005 when my brother made me play gta 5 on pc, after that he moved and he left one of his games, Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos, that's what hooked me to the computer

the first game that i started playing on pc would be skyrim

back in 2012 i saw my friends playing gmod, i played with them, we had a lot of fun... 100 hours into the game i became more familiar with the game(and also fixed the pink and black textures) then i went onto a mode called darkrp i dident really know what it was but 300 hours in i was already staff on a server, 600 hours in i became better and better and knew most of the things about gmod, 1000 hours in i knew everything and was just learning lua and how to develop a server and i came across a site called gmodstore, 1400 hours in i knew how to develop and started my own server which became very popular it was a hard journey but i made it :D

Linux, back in like 2010, or maybe 2009, I don't exactly remember. I started with their free games like SuperTuxKart and Xmoto.
