How did you get into Garry's Mod?

Garry's Mod is a game I've known about since I was a child, and I've always enjoyed the various amounts of gamemodes and things to do in Garry's Mod. It's part of the reason I'm into programming now as I have coded a TTT server from scratch these days.

So what brought you to Garry's Mod?

I bought it on steam sale a long time ago. Didn't even touch it for months and then decided to try it. The modded gamemodes like murder and TTT hooked me in.

Got given it for free by a friend. Since he had a server and wanted more people to get interested in the game.

I've bought it on a different site because in 2014-15 I cannot pay via mobile phone. So I started playing it and I still play.

I got in via DarkRP, And then spreading to Deathrun, Prophunt and TTT they were the main games back 3000 hours ago now its just DarkRP and TTT

I saw a bunch of animations about it, but I didn't have a PC at the time. Once I got one I bought GMOD and only played Sandbox for like a year, then going onto the other gamemodes.

This game has no similar. I love it, you can do anything in it. And this is Garrys mod
In this game you can make your game. And this is its main plus.

I was a young lad who really enjoyed portal and half-life. then I saw GMOD and I was like "WOW! I can control half life?"

A friend of mine had the game and when I went to his house he showed me how to make a car (a crappy one) and I love the idea and when it was on sale he gifted it to me. We made a lot of stuff together and then we started adding addons and well you know the rest
