only centralized crypto are ponzi invest in decentralized

Ledger nano S is a really great HW wallet, I would surely reccomend to get one, it is the safest place to hold your coins. It supports quite a lot of alts, and more are added constantly.
Your second best bet would be using a wallet, where you own your own private keys. Remember never hold large amounts of money on exchanges or most online wallets.

I would like to buy the ledger nano but i don't know.. Should i wait till they low the prices on amazon?
