Can you get VAC Banned on GMOD?

Valve Anti Cheat protection is present on Gmod, but it's disabled afiak.

No, VAC will never ban you in Garry's Mod and probably in any other game. It's not a good anticheat. What really kills cheaters in Garry's Mod is administrators and good scripts like Cake Anticheat.

You can be VAC Banned from Garry's Mod because they have VAC Secured servers but their security system is very weak so people usually use scripts to catch hackers.

VAC is very outdated. Highly doubt you will get caught on it, I would watch out for these new anticheats that are released.

I used cheat engine before and that has to be the most detectable thing ever and nothing happened.

You can be banned if you use the standard cheats for Sourse, if you use scripted LUA cheats, you can not get bans

No. VAC doesn't work in Garry's Mod but you can get banned by anti cheat addons, though you can easily bypass most of them if not all.

VAC is present in Garry's Mod, however it is not active and does not ban. There are however server-side banning anti-cheat addons though.
