FastDL or Workshop for server ?

Hi people, I'm facing a problem...
should i put all my addons (without exception) in my FastDL, or put only those that are not accessible via the workshop, with risks of ERRORS... So i do not know how to do ?

FastDL is like 5x faster. Sorry for my previous comment <3

He is asking a question here, not your general "do you prefer x or y?"

carata That really depends on the use-case.
I wold put large addons into the workshop download as it's just a pain in the ass to upload them to the server and fastdl.
Everything else should go to the fastdl in case the workshop item gets taken offline. However, don't forget that you only need to put models, materials, sounds (and anything else player-based) on the fastdl.
Lua-Files don't belong there

Obviously FastDL, but for addons like as TDMCars I think Workshop is better.

So, for single files and smaller files FASTDL is better much better and the opposite is for workshop ?

Lmao... No its not. WorkshopDL is way better, I suggest only using FastDL for fonts as they can't be uploaded on the workshop..

Workshop Dl, Fastdl is for models and maps.


And its just way better

FastDL all the way for everything bro its alot easier on your part rather then making a collection.

it depends on the size of your server, if there is not so many addons, i would use workshop. If you have alot of models and addons i would make fastDL as it is better organized and you dont lose your stuff if they go offline.
