Good at a young age, allows you to develop romantic maturity and hones your ability to deal with the opposite sex. :p

You will learn a lot about yourself, and about the opposing sex aswell....my first relationship was at 16....and i have no regrets about that. Made me grow up mentally...a lot....so im kinda thankfull to that girl even now 10 years later....
But in the end its up to you.

I don't understand why are people saying this is not a good thing.
Of course if you want to be in a relationship just to be in a relationship don't do it, but if you have a chance/someone that you love and that loves you back, go ahead man

I think it's good, but don't try to make your relations serious, it will not lead to good

I dont really think that its something you can influence, i didnt look for one actively and it still kinda happened

If both parties are confident in each other then yes. Everything can work at any time with minimum effort but having good times when they're togheter

If you want to get laid at 17 it's a good idea, just try not to throw the L word around and if you decide you don't want to be with Her/Him try and not make too many mutual friends.
