How did you get into Garry's Mod?

I remember about 4 years ago my friends getting into our group chat and being hyped about this game called Gmod. I researched it. Bought it and have enjoyed every moment!. It's such a great game because of the diversity it posesses!!!

My dad bought me this game and i started playing it in 14 years old ^^

well, ive got it at my birthday and i play to now :D

I watched these two guys on YouTube playing the very old first versions of DarkRP, that got me into DarkRP.
Sadly I can't find there videos anymore, which is a shame, it was someone whose name at the time on YouTube was cowboy or something like that.

I think i first had it cracked and then bought it, a day later it was on discount for 1/4 of the price xD

I only bought gmod because i saw big youtubers used to play it and i wanted to try it out.

Haha, sounds like a lot of you had similar ways of getting it like me.

I watched the video of an YouTuber who played on an RolePlay Server. That looked like so much fun that I bought the game.

And yes. Garry's Mod also brought me a lot near to programming than any other game.

Watcching Jacksepticeye and Markiplier playing prop hunt and RPGMinx playing TTT was how I originally found garrys mod. Never looked back :-)

well i bought garrys mod, it was my second steam game. i watched some elevator gamemode videos and they were hilarious. yeah and pewdiepies TTT videos :D
