Think of it this way, in the end, you're encouraging users to put out 15 posts to view something that they were looking for. Obviously, you aren't going to get active users this way all the time. Instead, you'll get people spamming around quickly so that they can view the thread they want, and leave the site forever and not care about getting merely banned. This current system should, in my opinion, either be abolished or redesigned so that it works better. What are your thoughts?

EDIT: Also the "leecher alert" thing is just infuriating after reaching this criterion. Of course, a user who comes to look for help would not have any other help to give others, and if they did it'd be useless.

What kind of system would you make so people who took something are also forced to contribute?

I'd say having to reply to the thread to see the hidden content as a bump, or having separate sections for VIP users who can post there, and there'll be little to no leechers in that section since they'd have at least some commitment to the forum that they'd have donated to. There is definitely no perfect solution to this, but it's better than this current system which makes you hop through pointless hoops to view a thread with hidden content that you desire to view.

If they only have to post that makes it the easiest thing ever to leech. We have a VIP section for people who upgrade.

The posts are there so they earn credits to buy the leak, that stops people been able to unlock everything quick. Pretty sure they are also limited to unlocking 3 things a day.

So they can just come here, unlock a thread, get their shit and leave?
I'd rather have them not get anything. If you really want something, work for it.

I do see what you mean mate but making people post is a good idea. Stops lots of useless accounts being made.

The thing is, you should be proud users are coming from other websites and parts of the internet to leech here, since if they leech enough from here they'll end up becoming users who end up contributing.

You act like 15 posts would take you more than 15 minutes
