Why is there such a disdain for the COD guns in CS:GO? I love the SG!

It may be because Im a low Gold player but I love the Sg, however whenever I use it I get the same comments/complaints: "Why are you playing with a COD gun?", "How are you that bad you have to use that", ect. What do you guys think of the SG?

it's honestly not bad at all. The people who tell you that are have the 'elitist thinking process' and believe its a cod gun because it has a scope when in actuality most games have a scope. Others just say 'COD Gun' as a joke and don't mean to put you down for using it. As long as you only buy the AUG and SG when you have enough money to get it, armor+helmet, and a few nades, the only people who'll try to bring you down for owning cod guns are the dudes who think they're so 'cool' for doing it.

Usually just people getting salty because the scope gives you an advantage over a regular M4/AK.

Because there's an acog on the gun. It's a complete fucking meme but I use it sometimes and destroy with it. It's like a fully automatic scout with a little less damage but I hit headshots all day so it doesn't matter.

You limit your screen to a small circle and watch a single corner. Next you tap four times and bam the guy with the ak is dead.

Well I am old-fashioned player and prefer the AK. Well I don't like only for the reason it is pricey. With the same amount of money you can afford an AK and a flashbang (for competitive gameplay). Well if you are talking about casual matches where no fucks given about the economy well yeah it is pretty fun to annoy the shit out of your opponents.

When I started in the counter-strike: global offensive was due to the fact that I played Call of Duty for many hours, when I tried it for the first time I was struck by the fact that the shots in some weapons felt identical and that's why to this day I only play csgo since COD became half trash

Becasue cs:go community (and the game itself) is based on skill, training and mastering things. But the COD guns are guns that can be equipped and ready to go in no time. That's why people hate them
