How did you get into Garry's Mod?

Once on YouTube, I saw a video of the garrys mod and downloaded it

I think it was the first game I ever downloaded on Steam? I think...

Oh checking my purchase history, it definitely wasn't. I was 7 months into Steam before and I bought it. I wonder why I got it? It was definitely for lan party with some prop hunt so I think a good friend of mine got me to buy it.

I just searched for new games on Steam and saw GMod.
I then searched for GMod on YouTube and looked at it.
And now I am here.

Brother showed me it and it looked very dumb until he played darkrp so i wanted to play so i bought the game

I saw a load of content creators playing it and it looked fun as heck.

I got into it because of youtubers like SeaNanners.

And the kind of fun their videos showed was definitly true ^^

I dont remember, but i remember how i played on my brothers pc, when was gmod 11. Then i bought it for my account.

Friend suggested it and i got completely addicted for about 2 years and after that i played it on and off.

I had gmod for a few years now, never liked it. I was always playing tf2, but I only played single player as I owned a terrible laptop that would always crash when I tried loading onto multiplayer. When I got my PC, I didn't play gmod for like one and a half years, but then I had a couple of mates who wanted to play zombie survival, so sure, I joined them, I found zombie survival alright, then I found out about Star Wars RP, looked for a high population server (Republic Gaming, fell out with them now), got trained 3 times (why not, their whitelist was broke), and I ended up becoming the General as a Shadow Trooper. That's my introduction to gmod.

I first saw TTT on YouTube. In Steam Easter Sale I bought it and since then I played much gamemodes.
