1000 Year War [Poetry]

This is a poem I did a long time ago, thought I'd share it here and see if it will spark an interest to do more. Most of my other poems are in writing, instead of online/on my PC so yeh.

1000 Year War

--

Acceptance of darkness
The heart and soul of one man's son
The 1000 year struggle is over
The people have won

It starts again
Sacrifice of blood and tears
Eyes against nothing
Everyone's overwhelming fears

Battlefield covered in blood
Blinded by the night
Vanish forever
Into the infinite light

Eyes of the heavens watch over
Hand of the almighty sun
The old era is over
A new one has begun

Nothing fancy, I'm not that good at poetry but it is something I enjoy sometimes when in the mood.

I'm not great at poetry, never really got into it... but great poem : LOVED IT :

Good Poem Angelic Although I thought mine in the achievement section was better LMAO

It was really good though 8/10 make it longer don't stop there!!!

Thats great, I love the use of words. It doesnt feel forced and still rhymes. Keep writing angel
