Should you use leaks or not?

hey all, i have been testing on a newer i bought a couple days ago one server had the "paid versions" of the addons usuallyeveryone uses and i had a server that had all leaks versions that nulled offers. (keep in mind i will never and will not talk shit or down grade this site)

Paid Addons:
as you would the server would be flawless as they are the paid "real" addons from the creators of the script and there will be no problem and you get support from the creator is an error occurs as you have paid for the addon its self

Leaked Addons:
now for the leaked addons, this is option has itsadvantages and disadvantages. Why? because you get no support at all from the creator because you do not own the script and therefore you have no help for them because you have stolen it from an random site. another reason there could be a script that you have downloaded from this site that someone has edited to auto connect people the a random server apon connection to your server. another reason why is most versions that have been leaked are older version and are usually broken or bugged and thats why they have been updated. also people can tell if your a scrub that uses leaked addons because you can see how old servers are :3

overall its up to you to use leaked addons, its your server not mine but this is just a brief of what happens when using leaked addons. some might be fake some might be real the point is it not really a good idea. i suggest stay to the paid versions and save up from server donations.

again its never my intention to downgrade this website or talk shit about it, just placing points and fact of what happens to leaked addons and how they react to you server as well.

It's okay to have leaked addons. In my opinion I feel like leak addons should be temporary until you have enough money to pay for that certain addon, things such as automated donation system or a whole gamemode could take some while and I do not recommend getting that leaked gamemode. People barely buy gamemodes and once it's leaked it's very easy to find who leaked it so your leak you got could be gone it a day or so.

In my opinion its not good. 1)u can get backdoor 2)no support from creater 3)its bad. I think if u dont have money u can use leaks, but then when u get money u must buy license

Personally, I don't care. As long as they function as they should and do they job they say they were going to do. I'm not bothered.

Yeah its edgy. What i do is i leak the addon, try it out, and if i like it i will purchase it when i have the money.

Amen to that. 100% agree with this dude some people just don't have the money for addons at the start.

The people who have enough to buy addons won't struggle to get leaks that may harm them. When u use leaks you don't really have much choice.

Paying for gmod addons is just wrong from the start. All it is is a big cash grab. Never pay for scripts, always try and find a leak.
I've seen loads of really shitty scripts uploaded to gmodstore, and asking for very high prices.

You're trying to downgrade this site. I mean, seriously, this is a forums where people can get opinions. If you want to become Valve's little pet and use their discussions all the time, go ahead, but seriously this site is not all about the leaks. You're an idiot.
