What do I need to get a DarkRP server?

I think it's pretty easy, you only need to spend money on the server host and plugins which cost around 10-30 USD to host a server. everything you need to know is online :D

You need to be able to code using lua at least a little experience. And you dont exactly NEED to spend money there are alot of free addons out there but the paid ones are usually better. Hope this helped. also you can find the paid addons for free on the gmod leaks forum on this website

From my experience, they are free to set up, and can cost you either nothing or a bit of money depending on if you do buy addons or hosting by another company. We currently run our server on a small non-powerful pc and it works fine, and we've only paid for one addon- which I've also leaked here on the forums to everyone to share.

From my experience, everything was online. I learned how to code lua in about a week and honestly it helps alot! Although i cant make addons from scratch i know how to look at an addons lua files and customize in there. If youre starting a server, i do recommend learning a bit of LUA.

totally free in my opinion you can setup your own dakrrp server on your pc untill you get donations
then you can buy a host and boom server up 24/7 and it will slowly grow
However you need a little bit of lua experience and alot of friends to get the server running properly. you would need 20 players a day to grow more. at least 20. or 15

but in my opinion you can use leaked addons untill you got money to pay for the addons that is if you wanna pay for them
However this is what i meant by somewhat lua experience. you need to be able to find backdoors on these leaked addons otherwise people can fk up your server if it has a backdoor in it.

Running DarkRP server is easy. All you need is VPS, good addons for your choose and stuff of admins that will take care for the players. I think DarkRP is the easiest gamemode to run on a server.

At start u can be a cop and then when u have money u can buy moneyprinters and loot money. Then u can do gang and robbering the players
