Are using leaks illegal?

I just dont want to be arrested, please tell me it isnt that bad!!!

No, I doubt cops would care about a kid leeching from a forum. Yes, it's illegal to steal without paying but won't matter unless they press charge.

I think the most that will happen, is that if you are caught you'll probably just get a gmodstore ban.
If the developer goes to the extreme maybe they'll press charges I guess, but theres so many leechers that it really just has no point to it.
They might do something what my_hat_stinks does though, and put you on a public board of leakers on the description lol

I have been Playing gmod for the better of 8 years and i never once had a problem besides them bitching but in my personal experience nothing has ever came of anything like that! I used to host PERP, GMR, clockwork servers!

Of course it is, you are stealing otherwise priced intellectual property, and taking it for free without the creator's consent.

ok tnxx, Im still not gonna use alot of leaks, developers might press charges

I haven't had any problems using leaks thus far. Yes though it is illegal.
