i dont see the point in mining XMR.. its basicly worth close to nothing in todays market. Adsense would give you loads more income.

Exactly, which is why I feel like all of this "hidden mining" bullshit is pointless when ads do just fine. And if they have a decent adblock, chances are they'll be blocking miners too anyways.

Yeah, i guess most adblockers block the miners.. one thing is earning coins like XMR with the mining scripts.. but you also need to sell it so it might not really be worth it in the end at all. I would definetly go for Ad Revenue > Miner Scripts.

Ok, miners on browsers are mostly based off of javascript, the BEST extension is NoScript. It is bundled with the Tor browser, you can pick it up at any of your browser's extension marketplace.

You could use that addon to block it. But, most Adblockers should have it as a feature.

Pretty sure that Ublock and the original AdBlock block them as well?

I've used UBlock in the past. It should still work I imagine
