I would suggest checking youtube for some video setting tips and mouse DPI and Sensitivity settings, ALSO there is a map you can get in the market for CSGO that will help you with the guns recoil so you can practice accuracy and movement. Also another one that will show you all the best smoke locations on each map. Definitely worth checking out!

Browse Community Servers -> Look for FFA deathmatches, or deathmatches. This is a good way to improve your aim.

To improve game-sense, don't see any other way than to play competitively just get some friends and have fun :hehe:

you should just play for a couple hours a day, mute people who criticize you for being a noob, and overall just remember to have fun,and surely you will get better. :D

Learn the spray patterns of guns, get a lot of hours on each map so you know likely routes, Drop your DPI to like 400 if you want to get really good, theres a reason all pros do it. Work on your reaction times so that you dont panic when you see someone and just react by firing at a spot they are likely in. A good headset is important, TRUE 7.1 surround sound is overated, you just get a poorer sound quality when the virtual surround in the source engine is already really good.
