Are using leaks illegal?

No not because it is not aware all time for cops. Cops work another problems.

You wouldn't even get looked at wrongly unless it's an obvious case or your server that contains the addons is a large server and profitable, etc..

So many servers these days use leaks it's practically obvious, but no one really cares enough to do much about it (both players and creators) unless specified as said above.

Yeah, unless you're obtaining a shit ton of money off of their addons, you won't get into any legal trouble, you'd just get banned off of GmodStore and other forums/servers. You'd have to cause damage to their business and make them lose a lot of money lol.

I've read somewhere that if you have to ask yourself if something is on the wrong then it probably is. Test this when ever you ask another question of something being negative. Using leaks is illegal in the way that you use it. If no one know about your use of the leak no one cares.

Actually it's illigal because the scripts have copyrights but nobody cares about leaks. I will tell you more, downloading films or games from internet from non official site/forum is also illigal :D

You'll be fine providing you don't use them commercially.
