How did you get into Garry's Mod?

I got into gmod by watching darkrp trolling videos ages ago when i was 10, so i downloaded a pirated copy of it, then i realized i couldn't play on line then like 2 years later i built my first gaming pc then i got steam and bought it

Started playing ttt/deathrun with friends on a discord server

I became aware of Garry's mod through YouTube and because it played friends.

darkrp is pretty old project, it's pretty easy to play without any roleplay experience, also the community is pretty friendly

I first found out about Gmod by watching RPGMinx playing TTT. It looked like so much FUN, I just had to get it for myself :-D

Then I found all the different gamemodes and havent left it

when i was 8 my friend showed me the game and i liked it and after sometime i found that i can download MODS and then the fun started :D

I used to watch yogscast when i was younger. when i finally got a decent laptop i bought the game. still play it to this day on my desktop.

I saw YT vids when it was around gmod 10 or 11 and that made me hooked.

I learned about it from letsplay on minecraft. People have mentioned Garry's mod and I decided to download steam (Previously I didn't have one) and purchase the game.

First off all a one Guys from my Family just gaved me his Account that i can play some Games. So i've seen Garrysmod and just downloaded it an i was like: "WTF is this?" but then it was very cool and i liked it very much. Then i played online with some Friend in a local Sandbox Server.
