So, It's 2018. Is it STILL a good idea to play?

Draven FTW, best champion ingame. He has so much damage if you play him correctly in lane and get fed ofc.

I have been playing in EUW since season 1, Ranked Gold/Plat every season since. And I can say with confidence that the game is at it's best these days... Sure we have a lot of Graphic updates and cool new features compared to the old days.
In my opinion the thing that makes it the best season and best days of the game is the fact that we have never had all the champions balanced so evenly in the history of league.
Kudos to RIOT with the reworks and balance updates. A lot of old farts that had been unused for years like Galio, Yorick, Taric and many more have had reworks to make them viable in the game, Also some other champs that are less popular actually have potential to carry had in any Elo in the right hands (likes of Zilean, Panteon, Zilean, Annie ..) Also some long time bullies like Rengar are balanced down to a reasonable strenght.
The community in EUW is a little more meme friendly and speaks more English than before which is quite nice.
New champions have funny and creative kits and also Riot toned down on making new champions OP as hell to sell more RP (Altho Zoe was and still is too OP imho)

Best would be to give it a shot and see for yourself. There's a ton of flamers, a ton of feeders, a ton of ppl with just stupid ideas but obviously there are normall players aswell. The game itself is pretty fun, And the nice thing is that it's always different

I think with Esport growing bigger and bigger and becoming more relevant with time, League will still be there for a while..

been playing since season 1, but quited few months ago. lol is not that entertaining anymore like after season 3. it's just not the same anymore....

I think yes, its a very cool game. but dont play it so much.
