One dollar can get you a chocolate bar or maybe if you're lucky a pack of crisps/chips.

$1 is 0.71 over here.
With that, you could buy pretty much nothing. Maybe 1 loaf of bread - they can sell for around 0.49
Then you'll be able to buy a coke as well afterwards, but that's it.

you'd be hard pressed to buy anything with that type of money where I live. I can't think of anything off the top of my head.
