Why is military rp dying?

I really like to play militaryrp but its dying. There are only a few servers left.Why is it dying?

It's an extremely linear gamemode for a game that's already old and dying. The playerbase that the gamemode has earned drives people away as well.

According to who is gmod dying lmao? Garry's Mod is defenitely not dying..

I've never even heard of this gamemode, I played Garry's Mod a little bit, but I learned about a few of the gamemodes

People tend to get tired of monotony, so they go into new modes / games ...

Can you show me some kind of proof of this? Statistics? Maybe you've been playing the wrong gamemodes.

Maybethis, but I doubt that is a reliable source, I just notice less servers being filled up on the DarkRP serverlist.

I wouldn't go as far as saying garry's mod is dying but it's dropping players then it gains again(http://steamcharts.com/app/4000#1y) but most of the gamemodesthat where popular back in the day are not a populated as they used to be prophunt being one of them.

I think its becouse most of the server don't want to give you opertunity to rp they want you to just do they orders and stuff.
