Worth it?

Definitely worth buying it still, it's not dead yet so you shouldn't worry about anything like that!

Very much alive, but the game is much harder now that the initial rush is over. Its like any game that is a couple years old, people practice and get good at it making it hard for new guys to come in.

Overwatch is far from dead.
The community is still growing because they're adding new content to the game, which is bringing in more people.

Watch gameplay and see if you like it. Base your decision off of that.

It's worth it if u have friends with OW. In other cases u can buy it only on sale.

I bought it for full price and play sometimes with friends, you can't play alone coz it's super boring.
