Lol I just heard about it. The hacker really pissed off vevo. That was just a moment of shock

Btw the despacito video wasn't deleted. It was taken down by vevo and youtube themselves.

Everything seems to be fixed now.
If VEVO was hacked, or they used passwords that were similar or the same for all the channels it would make sense.
It's next to impossible to hack a channel on YouTube, because Google is behind it.
Most likely people will use social engineering or get the passwords through other methods.

I heard people use a programme called BruteFortnite for getting passwords!

Brute-forcing passwords are going to take unfathomably long if the passwords are strong... Though if they use simple or relatively short passwords it shouldn't take too long...
Just not worth trying to brute-force IMO, unless you know they have weak passwords... so it probably wasn't used in the attack :/
