Are free cryptocurrency websites legit?

I'm talking like even if theres a really really small amount, is it possible? And why do they think some people just give it for free?

They can be but you would have to do a ridiculous amount to even get to a point where you could withdraw what little currency you have to a wallet.

If you have to sign up to the website or whatever there will probably be some sort of restriction on what you can do.

Sometimes they can, but if they want to have your personal information in exchange for 0.00000001tc, its probably a scam.

They're not worth the time.. they rope you in by giving you X when in reality its not enough to withdraw and once they take there fee's they'll have made back what they gave you for free originally.

You're talking about faucets. There are very few legit free crypto websites that allow you to roll some draws and if lucky get some satoshis.
http://www.freebitco.in is legit. It has a lottery but the winning chances are dim.
You can earn dozens to hundrends of satoshis every hour.

The best alternative to earn free bitcoins (1$ sums) is to sign up at Earn.com and try to join some Lists. you would recieve paid messages & Airdrops invitation. I make around 30$ a month from earn.com

some are but some aren't. you would have to do research for real ones
