How did you started playing minecraft?

I was a kid, and I like it, not the big bang teory.

I started playing Minecraft way back in the day after watching countless hours of YouTubers and livestreamers play the game.
Back then I could only really watch videos in 240p on my then terrible internet connection, it hasn't improved much since...
Either way, I got really into the game, and my parents weren't really fans of buying games online, nevermind anything on the internet.
I remember sitting in the car on the way back from school explaining the entire game to them just so that they'd consider the purchase... After I impressed them with my mass knowledge of the game they finally caved and bought it for me off the official Minecraft Website. I never really used pirated versions of Minecraft, especially back then because I wanted to support the developers and the game was really small even for its size way back then.
After that, my parents and I regularly buy things off the internet. That purchase seemed to get rid of their fear of the internet lmao

i saw youtubers play it and downloaded it after a week,

First time I played was on the Mobile App with my brother, then I got it on my PS3, and I really enjoyed it, so I went out, purchased a laptop and bought it on that and now I run a server

My little cousin pleaded me to play minecraft with him in his ps4. I really hated this game but after that day i decided to download it (cracked of course) to give it a try.... After some days i started to like it and i bought premium versions.

My friend played on my computer and so I have tried minecraft too.

I honestly hated the game(but had never played it) My daughter started playing and all of the kids at her school loved it. I wanted to play so I would have something to do with her. We ended up crafting a huge castle with working tnt cannons and killing the ender dragon in survival. It's a great family friendly game. Now we play battle royales online.

My friend showed me it so i started playing early early alpha, damn it was soo bad back then

I wanted to play on GommeHd.net the biggest german mc server with my friend but then it were full and i played on a citybuild server - didnt like it and stopped playing fo r1 week then i played again.

My friend gives me flash disk with minecraft 1.2.5 xD
