Anybody else stuck in 1.7?

I do not like the old version, I only play the newest one.

I never left 1.7 and never will as the pvp mechanics are now broken as fuck. They ruin the game putting big useless animals in when they could make the PvP better rather than PvE.

Almost every server stucks on 1.8 as a core version and uses plugins to inject protocol and allow you to join with 1.12+ versions

I also loved 1.7 because after 1.8 update the pvp mecanism was sh*t and I stopped playing

I had this issue, reinstall minecraft. It should fix make sure to backup your saves.

I do like 1.7 a lot, and whenever a server supports it I will always be using 1.7, no doubt about it. The only issue that I have is that nearly all servers are running 1.8 servers and then just using ViaVersion to make it compatible up to 1.12.2. They don't realise that there is a plugin called ViaRewind that runs with ViaVersion and therefore makes the server compatible from 1.7 all the way up to 1.12.2 with no hastle or configuration.

Both of these plugins that I have mentioned work as they are supposed to right out of the box but more features are available in the configuration of both plugins.

In my opinion that's the best version of this game. Simple and easy like minecraft should be.
