Good place to start learning graphic design / best tools

Basically what the title says, where should someone go to start learning graphic design and what are some of the best tools for someone who is just starting, I've always wanted to do graphic design, but never have really been able to.

best tools are adobe photoshop and adobe after effect in my opinion although some might disagree, try a simple google search for graphic design tutorial and see what comes up.

Photoshop and Youtube. Try incorporating Illustrator as well. You're not going to learn in a day however. You have to keep creating and improving.

Photoshop and Youtube. Try incorporating Illustrator as well. You're not going to learn in a day however. You have to keep creating and improving.

Alright, ill look into those! - is there a version of Photoshop that is easiest to learn / the best? Right now I think I have Photoshop CC 2015

Any photoshop cc is fine. Get the latest one if possible.

Youtube and Udemy are the best places to start, in my opinion.

As others have said watching videos on the programs will help you learn graphic design. You can also go the route of just learning from experience, but some people don't have time for that. Also if you can't afford photoshop or don't have the means of downloading it, I'd suggest gimp or paint.net.

I think the best tool is Photoshop then learn it with Youtube tutorials!
