Besides having a great internet service provider (isp) I have recently stumbled upon a method of decreasing load times. It's very simple, all you have to do is change your dns to use 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 instead of being automatic.

Step 1: Open Control Panel
Step 2: Click View network status and tasks
Step 3: Click change adapter settings
Step 4: Right click on applicable device (Either first result or whatever isn't disabled) and click properties
Step 5: Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click properties
Step 6: Select Use the following DNS server addresses
Step 7: Input 1.1.1.1 as the Preferred DNS server
Step 8: Input 1.0.0.1 as the Alternate DNS server

After the dns addresses are updated, you should notice faster load times and as a bonus, it provides a bit of privacy to your web browsing.

The dns servers are provided by Cloudflare which already have a massive client base in web security.
You can find more information about the DNS servers directly from cloudflare @https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/dns/...s-1.1.1.1/
You can also watch this video by LinusTechTips to learn more:

Yeah, I have seen that video but didn't really make internet any faster. But, the only good thing about it that it's faster than Google DNS + no sold data.

It doesn't make your internet faster, nor did I claim that it did. It just indexes websites faster which can give faster load times. But yeah one of the major benefits is privacy.

Cloudflare has pretty fast servers, nice of 'em to make a DNS for the public use. Better than Google stealing yo info

With me this works fine but I still think it's kind of a placebo
