Was Avengers Infinity War overhyped?

I haven't seen it yet either, I think it was way overhyped. I don't see why people get this excited over Avengers.

This is what the MCU has been building towards for years, and it's gonna have nearly every character introduced thus far. I don't really know what more of an answer you could need the hype is justified. I've been hearing a lot of positive things from my friends about this movie so I cannot wait to go out and watch it myself.

Wow thats cool ika. Maybe ill watch it once it gets released on normal since i wont go to the theatres

I dont think it was overhyped at all. Even if it was, it lived up to the hype

The movie was so worth the wait , I highly recommend you go watch it .

I think the movie delivered on the hype. Although I have had discussions with people complaining that the heroes were idiots and could've killed Thanos multiple times. But I thought it delivered with the action, character development, and storytelling.

A common comparison I've been hearing is that it's like one long dbz episode. And I can't really disagree. It has a shit ton of build up all throughout the movie with "omgee what's gonna happen if he getz da stonez rawr" and then ends on a huge cliffhanger.

At least it wasn't like Harry Potter 7 and 8 where the first movie was boring af with like 30 minutes that we're actually important, then the 8th movie was huge.

I've just watched this and what a quality brilliant film it is, also is funny in some parts! and it has an ending you dont expect!

It was not overhypes in any way, the end of the movie shocked many and angered more. You can tell the hype is still alive as games like Fortnite are incorporating aspects of the movie into their game.
