Did you get hacked sometime?

Yes, one time, but that was a long time ago when I had a few bad passwords.

I've had a couple websites/servers hacked due to not staying current with updates... just minor defacements and ad injections, but in one instance Drupal was 100% compromised with privilege escalations/backdoors/etc. literally within a couple hours of a critical update being released (aka Drupalgeddon) while I was at work.. ended up having to reinstall/reconfigure the whole server OS because I didn't trust it anymore. I ditched Drupal entirely after that.

i never been hacked. But please be careful and don't download some sh*t that tells youto download something or like that.

Despite a lot of sites offer two-factor authentication, the most important one my bank does not... hell, their passwords aren't even fucking case sensitive... they prefer to reimburse all losses due to fraud rather than risk any minor reduction in ease of use.


Oddly, there are a grand total of zero Canadian banks offering 2FA... ah well, I suppose it's their prerogative since they're happy covering the losses..

Just don't use same password and don't be idiot to give you pass on fake websites.
