New GPU or New Monitor

Well there's a new Nvidia GPU coming out by the end of this year, so if you're getting the 1080, wait untill the other one comes out :- )

That is way overpriced. I do prefer a good monitor and wait for gpu prices to reduce (from mining rigs)

I totally forgot about the rise in prices due BTC thing... its a shame :( id like to have prices w/o brazilian taxes.. we could have decent rig w/o selling a kidney

I forgot that tho... i have read about it, but, can you imagine how overpriced it will be here im brazil?

i think you need a new gpu and a new monitor. buy somethingyou want.

Monitor for sure. It's about time I upgrade too as I'm still on 60hz... :rangery:

why not both, get a nice monitor after u get a nice gpu :D

Yeah but *maybe* the 1080 will drop in price, who knows.

monitor so you get some nice hz, it makes a huge diffrent. Also the GPU market is sick right now, the prices are through the roof and you still have an "okey" GPU as long as you dont want to play on high settings
