I have recently got back into league and I realized the only champs I really have are Master Yi and Garren XD. Is there any other easy to play, non nooby champs I could play?

Ok, listen to me alright. Quick both of them and start playing annie Mid only. You cs with you q and play safe until you 1 shot someone.
All champions under the 3150 BE price range are fairly easy to play. I would suggest you to play all the 450 BE champions since they have to most basic abilities and you'll get an understanding of how each role works. After that, you can try playing more difficult champions like Azir, Riven, Gangplank etc.

Annie probably one of the easiest. AOE stun/damage, imagine if you can get like 3-4 people with your ultimate, you can win the game so easily. Especially if you combine it with a champ like malphite. Both ultimate at 3-4 people and you got yourself a win.
