Yeah that's true it feels terrible when you're down 5% - 10% but you know what if you know how to read charts and use technical analysis you'll win more than you'll lose. For example off the top of my head XRP has moved between 0.78 and 0.90 in the past few days so I've created a safe-buying position at around 0.81 - 0.83 because according to charts and all my experience I can guarantee myself it'll at least reach 0.85 - 0.86 within 48hrs of my resistance point. I bought 2500 positions this morning at 0.81 and XRP already touched 0.83 not too long ago.

Heya Luziver,

Was just how your crypto's doing, noticed XRP's sitting around ~0.66 atm and thought of ya... I've still got 400 XRP I bought around 1.70ish, but all good... still in the green overall from XRP.

In my opinion it will get down to 6k again, but in a long term it will raise.
Cryptocurrency is a great idea with a great tecnology, the problem is making people accept it and governments not block it

Another problem is the idiots.. here's what someone said about my bank on Reddit:

"They restricted my account for 90 days a while back due to me funding Quadriga with Interac Online. I talked with a branch manager, a fraud prevention employee and an employee from complaints division and they all said the same thing; that they were sick of people making claims against them because of crypto. They said one guy bought bitcoins on Local Bitcoins and didn't get the coins after sending the seller an Interac E-Transfer. Then he made a claim against the bank because the E-Transfer originated from them.

Another case was a guy who maxed out his credit card to buy bitcoin. Then prices crashed 50% and he made a claim that it was a fradulent purchase.

Then there was the guy who took out a HELOC (home equity line of credit) to buy bitcoin. Now he can't pay it back after prices fell 50%.

They also told me they were tired of people sending bank wires to exchanges only to rescind them a few days later because they changed their minds. This caused extra work on the bank's part to trace the money, etc."

IMO, it's ridiculous to block everyone from purchasing crypto, or anything that's legal, because some people are idiots (or criminals in the case of the credit card guy)... even if Interac & bank-issued cards are out, I can't imagine they can refuse to do a wire transfer. As far as "rescinding" a wire transfer it goes, that must mean they haven't processed it yet or the other bank hasn't acknowledged it yet, cause it's not like wire transfers are reversable.

It's not like there aren't ways around it either way, but still.

I'm sitting on a huge loss right now but I'm holding. Actually, I've bought more on its way down. Hope she takes it past 1.70 again!

Yep, that's the way to go... lower your average price per unit in the meantime. Besides, like stocks, not an actual loss 'till ya lock it in by selling/cashing out at a loss.. I'm sitting on good-sized loss atm too, but plan on holding for a long time so it's all good... I did cash out a few bucks on xcoins, mostly just to see if it was legit.. worked good, had a few hundred bucks in my paypal account within a day.

Probably gonna buy some more myself actually.

I'm under the notion that crypto will eventually become the universal currency and be widely adopted. It's in its adolescence now, but it definitely has the potential to be the p e r f e c t currency around the world. I dont doubt it'll boom more than you can even fathom right now. Whether that be in 2018 or 2028, who knows.
