Include proof that you've bought it. Doesn't matter if your friend or you bought it, you're the one who's responsible for it. There's absolutely no reason that you can't provide him an updated version if you've bought it. Something's really fishy. I suggest you to just refund him and stop wasting his time.

As I already said, you're responsible for what you sell. It's pretty self explanatory that you provide him the latest version. If you go to the super market and buy water, I assume you expect a full and fresh bottle and not something that's half filled and standing in the shelf for half a year.

My mate bought itwhen he was selling it for $20 and at the time the script hadn't been nulled, the original seller is selling it for $50
