Halloween Event - Ideas?

This has been done ones. got alot of posts and i got 700+Threads.

But at the time, we got alot of posts which were LQ.

These kind of contests are boring, un-challenging and they promote spam over everything else. So my vote is against this.

Then add something into the mix to motivate people. (A small cash price is all that it takes really, or membership upgrade.) Something alike that, as it in all honesty is a better form of contest than a spam fest.

You know, there can be consequences such as for each low quality post/thread, a -2/-2 thread reduction.

That means the staff team would need to monitor around 1000 posts a day, 24-hours a day. That or the members have to report, which means even more work. The staff team simply isn't at a capacity where it can handle that much. (And trust me, there will be a huge amount of spam to monitor.) Unless you mean to act out on a fear factor, which may work, but will still promote spam.

We could take a turn on the photo contest. It doesn't have to be of a costume, but simply an image that is scary. It can be manipulated or not, it can use any genres of horror. Just post a image that you have either personally taken, edited or both in the contest thread. (This is funnily enough how the Slenderman came into existence.)
