Garry's Mod is a type of game, that you dont have to make a 2nd game for. The only real reason i see a gmod 2 releasing is for graphics. The scripting/modding system is already pretty easy to do and doesn't need any change. If they did a GMOD 2 what would even be in it?

Yup, there is "GMOD 2" in works and it's name "S&Box". They put blogs about their work and have discord.

i think s&box (gmod 2) will be a perfect game for any modder/map creator

This is my first time seeing anything about this. I am surprised I haven't heard about this before. I am actually really excited they are getting rid of lua.

Honestly, I hope someone mods LUA back into GMod 2 after it gets released. LUA was one of the best features! They should never have removed it.
