Changing Background IPB Header 4.3

Hello to all.
I wanted to know if any of you know how to change the background of the header with an image.
The version of my IPB is 4.3.3
the theme is Elegant by ipsfocus

I tried various solutions, this too:

but it does not seem to work for versions 4.3
I'm going crazy, does anyone know how to do it?

I think I found the way, just enter the values like this:

 #header {
    background-image: url('{resource="header.jpg" app="core" location="global"}');
      background-size: cover;
    background-position: 50% 0%;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
   }

This way it works. Speroi can help someone. After several hours of tests I managed to replace the header using the code I published above.

I you not need to use CSS, in most skins in the appearance / edit, you can modify the background.
