Is that so? Tell me, why does Japan not suffer the same violence rate when they have extremely sever gun restrictions and non-confronting police forces?

Also, show me the facts to your claim that the markets would rise.

It's kinda just common sense really + it's fucking America, they're crazy. It's only a thought so there's no actual facts, but the likelihood of the black market being used would be mental if gun laws were enforced.

Also, after the 1996 Port Arthur massacre in Australia, they banned firearms. Since then the rate of homicides over there has decreased significantly, with only 487 between 2012 and 2014. That's a section takenfrom my GCSE speaking notes.

EDIT: Sorry, I misread your reply.
I'm saying it's too late for America. Japan banned firearms way back in the 1500s-1600s (if my history is correct), when civilisation hadn't developed much yet. However, this is 2018. If they banned firearms in the1970s (or some time like that, you know what I mean), then there would not be a problem.

Um.... no. They banned them within the 1980's-1990's. Most of the wars that occurred during WWI and WWII were used with guns.
Literally, the Nanking Massacre happened with GUNS. Tens of thousands of Chinese citizens were murdered by the Japanese with guns and swords. This is MODERN history.
I apologize for everything

Gun control? I think we need better security in schools. People walk in and out of my school whenever they want, if someone wanted to shoot up my school, it'd be the easiest thing ever.

Adolf Hitler once said, "To conquer a nation, you must first disarm its citizens."

Britain should be a warning, not an example.

Gun control will not work, you're better off allowing people to defend themselves rather than make them helpless.
In terms of accessibility people should bear the responsibility if their weapons are used for crime.

My bad.
Either way though, they banned them early, like Australia and the UK, where as America hasn't enforced any gun laws whatsoever. That's why countries like them rarely have any homicides and mass shootings.

I think guns should be very hard to get. like first taking classes for 10 years before you're allowed to own a gun, that will take the fun out of it very quickly

I agree with that, Stop to sell gun to children! And automatic weaponto all people, like us in france!

Guns must be banned , only persons with special job (security, protection and other) must carry a gun ... so many shootings in usa because of the easy way to obtain a weapon legally .

I believe people should have a right to own a firearm but only after intense training / background checks and a mandatory gun check being done every 2 years.

The current system is sort of a joke in certain states...
