No , I've thought about this before, but I do not think this is possible because the updated source used by the valve is encrypted because of other users who used the engine to make other games

As some people have said before there is S&box that is being developed by Facepunch Studios it is basically Garrys Mod 2.. There are some clips of the gameplay which look awesome! And they are also creating a new editor which is 1000 times better than the current editor for Gmod, overall S&box looks great and has very nice graphics.. I cant wait until they release the game! It is going to be awesome!
